Carlinville has a small Amtrak station located right in town. Kenzie has taken the train from Wichita to Carlinville several times and can confirm it’s a convenient option for traveling in. Please note that the station is unstaffed and very small. It has basic amenities, including restrooms, but no on-site workers or services. If you plan to arrive by train, we recommend arranging transportation from the station in advance.
