As juniors of Wichita State University, both Kally and Hannah decided to go through sorority recruitment in the hopes of making life long friendships. Lucky for both girls, they got their first recruitment pick into Delta Gamma sorority in the fall of 2014. After new pledge week and a month of DG history, the two finally became sister's....well sorority sisters. Kally and Hannah shared a bond of swapping nursing/EMT stories while occasionally sharing a bottle of wine in the process. Fun Fact: Kally was the first individual who knew that Hannah and Alex were engaged. Even before the bride and grooms parents!
Mason Combs
Best Man
Mason and Alex go way back to their childhood days living in Dodge City. They aren't related, though, one could argue they are basically brothers. The two were in school together beginning in middle school and all the way to Wichita State. Mason and Alex continue to stay in touch by meeting up several times a year to attend music festivals, sporting events, or casual vacationing. Fun fact: It was Mason who got Alex a job at Wichita State's Campus Recreation. Does that place sound familiar? Something about Alex meeting Hannah there...
Hannah Boesen
Matron of Honor
Hannah Boesen and Hannah Whipple met in 2012 at Wichita State University in Fairmount Towers Dormitory. It was at 7:30 a.m. that Hannah Whipple decided to go down to the Fairmount Towers Cafeteria to grab breakfast before heading off to class. Hannah Boesen along with her roommate were the only two students eating breakfast that early in the morning. Hannah Whipple asked Hannah Boesen if she could eat with the girls, and was lucky they both agreed. Since that first day, Hannah Boesen and Hannah Whipple friendship blossomed into a world of laughter and adventure. Fun Fact: Did you know that Hannah Boesen and Hannah Whipple were roommates for one year while attending Wichita State University? Hannah Boesen was the first person to witness Hannah Whipple and Alex's love grow in its infancy.
Fidel Serrano

Fidel and Alex met during the Fall of 2011 at Wichita State. Fidel helped welcome Alex to Wichita and the two became quick friends. The two are part of the same fraternity, Sigma Lambda Beta, and were also roommates for several years while at Wichita State. Fidel and Alex continue to stay in touch by meeting up a few times a year to have a beer...or several. Fun fact: It was Fidel who brought Yadi, the energetic and short-tempered husky/shepherd mix, into Alex and Hannah's life.
Sarah Whipple
Bridesmaid
As the sister of the bide, Sarah is two years younger than Hannah. Growing up, Sarah and Hannah were polar opposites. Sarah enjoyed writing, shopping, and the color pink. Hannah enjoyed drawing, sports, and the color blue. Nevertheless, Sarah and Hannah continue to support one another through any and all major life milestones. Both sisters love one another dearly. Fun Fact: Hannah decided to bring Alex to Lawrence, Kansas for the first time on the day of Sarah's High School graduation. Not only did Alex meet Sarah for the first time on that day, but he also met Hannah's parents, grandparents, and family friends.
Osbaldo "Ozzy" Rodriguez

Ozzy and Alex also met during the Fall of 2011 at Wichita State. Ozzy too was a part of Sigma Lambda Beta and helped recruit Alex, where the two became friends. Since then, Ozzy and Alex have continued to be close friends and share very similar interests and beliefs. Fun fact: Ozzy and his wife Ronee have traveled to Iceland, New Zealand, and the Philipines in the last two years. Alex and Hannah look forward to joining their travel bug in the future!
Michael Remigio

Mike and Alex have been friends for almost 10 years, dating back to when they both coached the "Spartans" youth baseball team in the summer of 2009. The two have a similar sense of humor and will often quote lines from "MacGruber" (the greatest movie of all time). Fun fact: Mike is one of the funniest people that ever lived. Have a conversation with him after a few beers.
