Hannah is from Lawrence, Kansas and Alex is from Dodge City, Kansas. Somehow, both of them found Wichita, Kansas as a "home away from home". As students of Wichita State University, both found a temporary job position at Campus Recreation. Hannah was just starting her position at the gymnasium when Alex spotted her for the first time in the spring of 2013. It wasn't until the end of summer when he commented on Hannah's eye's that it finally clicked into place. Throughout the first couple of years together, both have experienced several milestones. Alex finished his accounting degree and became a CPA, and Hannah finished her BA as well as MA of Liberal Arts in Anthropology. Alex worked for Grant Thornton, a public accounting firm, straight out of college for a couple of years before changing jobs to a consumer lending company. Hannah held several different jobs from driving an ambulance to working in the ER floor of a hospital.

During the summer of 2018, the couple faced their first challenge. Alex accepted a position with a consumer lending company that would move him to Chicago during the fall. But luckily, Hannah finished her MA in Anthropology and quickly found a job in Chicago as well! A move away from Wichita ensued. The couple never pictured moving north. Nevertheless, on 09/03/2018 the couple left Wichita for the "windy city" of Chicago. This milestone proved to be the greatest challenge the couple ever endured. However, the move turned out to be a success and the two enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city.

It was a cold and chilly night on 12/08/18 when Alex decided to pop the question. He took Hannah to Millennium Park and proposed in the dark of night with holiday lights glowing in the distance. It was an intimate moment shared between the couple as they reflected on everything leading to this moment. Affection and trust ultimately paved the path for Alex and Hannah to become a couple, and love is what continues to help the couple grow closer together as a family.

After a 5 year journey, the couple is excited to exchange vows in the white sandy beaches of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico! The couple invites you to this beautiful destination to share their special day and also to make it a vacation of your own. We hope you are able to attend!
