We were starting off a lot of conversations with that phrase back in summer of 2022. "Remember how I always said Lyzz and I were just friends and nothing more? Well... have I got a story for you!" We first met through mutual friends in 2019 on a joint trip to Mexico, and immediately recognized kindred spirits in each other. Lyzz was living in Washington, DC and Kevin in Stanhope, NJ. Over the years we became fast friends – traveling to beaches and cabins together, making late night phone calls to complain about bad first dates, and even celebrating birthdays and the occasionally family holiday together. In early 2022, after meeting Kevin at Lyzz’s birthday in DC, Lyzz's dad turned to her mom and said, "I hope they realize soon that they're meant for each other." Spoiler alert...we did! We are so grateful to have all of you celebrate with us.
