Travel Note
Parking is not always easy. We encourage you to leave your car at your hotel because everything is walking distance from Friday to Saturday night! There is a ramp in the area (State Street Campus Garage - 430 N Frances Street, entrance on Frances is open) - Open and enforced 24/7, including Sundays and holidays. - Rates on website. - Overnight parking is allowed. Vehicles parked over 48 hours may be ticketed and/or towed.
Flight
Right in town and easily the most convenient option. You’ll land basically in the middle of everything, then it’s just a quick Uber or Lyft ride downtown. No rental car, no stress, and plenty of time to grab a Spotted Cow when you land.

If you’re flying in, Milwaukee is about an hour and a half from Madison and often has more direct flights than MSN. We’d recommend renting a car from here… or catching a ride with family since a good number of you were born and raised in the great state of cheese.

O’Hare is about a 2.5-hour drive to Madison (give or take, depending on traffic and stops). It’s a major hub with tons of flight options, so you might find a great deal. We’d recommend renting a car and enjoying a little Midwest road trip on your way to Madison.

Midway is on the southwest side of Chicago and about a 3-hour drive to Madison. It’s usually smaller and easier to navigate than O’Hare, with plenty of budget-friendly flights. A rental car is your best bet here - plus it gives you an excuse to grab some deep dish pizza for the drive.
