An equally convenient option at the base of Palisades Tahoe, just steps from the Tram building where we will meet to take the ride up the mountain to the ceremony. Reduced Hotel Room Rates 4/15-19. Sunnyside Restaurant & Lodge

While this won't be the closest hotel to where events are being held, it isn't too far and is right on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Many locals say that, "the west shore is the best shore," and they may be right. Besides the stunning lake views, you'll be near many of our favorite spots - the West Shore Market, Shadyside Lounge and Firesign Cafe. Complimentary breakfast included each morning.

A great option, with a very fun ski town vibe, is the new evo hotel on the main street of Tahoe City. Central to all that TC has to offer and directly across from Commons Beach at Lake Tahoe. Discount Code - Use link below -- There are so many more smaller hotels in the area - a similar hotel just down the road from evo is the Basecamp Tahoe City Hotel. Both hotels offer different room types for groups, including rooms with bunk beds! If you prefer a larger hotel chain, Truckee has both a Springhill Suites by Marriott and a Hilton (Martis Valley Lodge, Tapestry Collection). Both are about 20 minutes from Palisades Tahoe (without traffic). There is also a Ritz-Carlton at Northstar that is about 40 minutes away. ***We are not sure what transportation we will be providing for the wedding events yet. We want to see where everyone ends up booking and provide what makes the most sense for the largest number of guests. Please do consider this while booking your accommodations and reach out with any questions or concerns. Remember that Ubers/Lyfts are very limited.***

Whether you're looking for a cozy cabin, spacious condo or lakefront estate, Airbnb and VRBO have a variety of choices that might be perfect for your group. Please reach out to us if you are unsure about the convenience of a specific location, especially if you are looking in Truckee.

Flight

Reno-Tahoe Intl Airport (RNO)

We suggest you fly into RNO - it is about an hour drive to Truckee or North Lake Tahoe. There are shuttles but we think renting a car is best. Be sure to check road conditions and weather. Sacramento International Airport (SMF): This is another option in the area that may have additional flights. Approximately a 2 hour drive. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) & Oakland SF Bay Airport (OAK): These options are about a 4 hour drive away. We only recommend flying here if you intend to visit San Francisco or the surrounding bay area during your trip.
