Will there be transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will be provided to/from Bavarian Lodge in downtown Leavenworth to make sure everyone arrives home safely! Taxis are also available. SHUTTLE SCHEDULE: 3:00 pm Driver arrives at Bavarian Lodge and loads guests 3:15 pm Driver departs for Tierra Learning Center 3:30 pm Driver arrives at Tierra, unloads guests (Driver does a 2nd pick up)

What is the weather like in Leavenworth in July?

Answer

Leavenworth is located on the eastern slope of the Cascade crest, therefore the climate is hot and dry in the summer. Be prepared for hot temps during the day (sunglasses, sunscreen, bathing suits to jump in the river and/or lake) and cool temps at night (light jacket should be fine!). Chance of rain is slim, but bring a rain jacket to keep the rain away!

We ask that unless specifically mentioned on your invitation, you make it a kid-free date night!

IS THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION OUTDOORS?

Answer

Yes, the entire evening will be held outside! Leavenworth is very hot and dry in July, so please dress accordingly. The venue is nestled in the woods and is shaded so the temps should cool off later in the evening. Please wear comfortable footwear as there is a short walk on a dirt path to the ceremony and dinner will be held on the grass lawn with some uneven footing.

ARE PHOTOS/VIDEOS PERMITTED DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We are requesting an unplugged ceremony. After the ceremony is finished, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
