After knowing Emily for years, she introduced Lyle and Taylor and they became instant besties. Nearly every Saturday night you can find us chilling at Taylor's place shooting the shit, playing games and loving on his felines Sumo and Tinnie.

Karl and Emily's friendship is nearly as old as they are! Since they became best friends at daycare when they were 3 years old, they have experienced many of life's ups and downs together. From the first day of school, to watching each other find first loves and subsequent heartbreaks, from angsty teenage days walking aimlessly around town, to deep late night discussions about loss and our inner demons; they will always be there for one another.

Growing up, Sarah and Emily hated each other with a passion and were always fighting. Their personalities are the complete opposite and they hardly ever share similar interests or sense of style . It wasn't until they both had moved out and discovered their love of plants that they truly developed a kinship. Now Emily loves her little sister and would do anything for Sarah (but is also still the first person to lovingly tease her for it).

Meme collector, talented artist, pro-gamer, and owner of luscious locks. He is an incredibly kind goofball. When his isn't busy teasing Merritt he can be found either drawing and sketching or gaming online with his brothers and pals. Him and Lyle share a similar demeanor and many interests; Lyle sees alot of himself in Kurt. During the pandemic Kurt stayed at "Lyle's Bootcamp" for the first 4 months of lockdown.

Merritt Shipman

Welding extraordinaire, Magic master, and Renaissance fair fan. Merritt isn't afraid to tell it how he sees, with a sarcastic quip to boot. As a night owl, he works night shifts welding at a local shipyard for the Government. Lyle is so proud of his younger brother for finding "his calling" and is only a little jealous he found it at such a young age.

Elizabeth Mason

The youngest of Emily's siblings with an 11 year age gap, sometimes Emily felt more like a third parent rather than a sister to Elizabeth, but they still found ways to form a strong bond. Having an older sister who could drive was always beneficial and having a younger sister to explain what kids are up to these days kept Emily feeling in the loop with the youth.

Peyton Baillargeon

Motocross enthusiast, aspiring engineer, grill master, slang translator, and the youngest of Lyle's siblings. Peyton is a very kind and curious young man who aspires to make the world a place as an engineer, like his older brother. He's often busy in the garage fixing bikes, smoking brisket on the deck, or shredding guitar in his room. Lyle likes providing him with nuggets of wisdom and worldly advice.

Alex Ettinger

Emily and Alex's bond was so instantaneous and powerful from the moment they meet in math class freshman year, they swore they were lesbian lovers in a past life. Many sleepovers were had and countless hours spent playing Sims or watching YouTube. Alex's wardrobe is so extensive and vast that nearly a third of Emily's closet was once belonged to her.

After crossing paths sophomore year, Lyle and Alex clicked instantly and quickly became fast friends. They were roommates senior year along with Hannah and Becca. As a matter of fact, Emily and Lyle's first trip away together was for Alex and Hannah's wedding which Lyle officiated (as well as their vow renewal)! They welcomed Emily in to their friend group with open arms, and now occasionally they all meet up for shows/concerts.

Cosplay Queen, proud feminist, cat mom, and all around bad-ass. Emily and Mariah met through a mutual friend in 2018 and clicked. She took Emily and Lyle to both their first Anime Convention and first Renaissance Fair which now they love going to! Now Mariah has to deal with Emily meowing at her two cats Ito and Illumi every time she visits.

Raelee Maranda

This cutie pie is the one who officially made Emily an Auntie! Despite always being friendly with everyone else and knowing him since she was born, for some strange reason Raelee was terrified of Lyle at first (we think it was his bushy beard). She would cry and point at him, and would make sure to keep an eye out for him if she knew he was there. Now she loves saying "hi uncle Lyle" and gives him big hugs like Auntie Em!

Paxton & Carson Baillargeon

Flower Boys

These two sassy and rambunctious boys are Lyle's nephews. Nearly twice the size of their peers, these two menaces can be quite destructive and yet remain so incredibly adorable. We love chasing after them, taking them fishing, and creating new silly games like "squirmy wormy" and "hungry monster". They've got big personalities and even bigger hearts!
