Here's What's Going to Happen

Wedding Ceremony Sunday, 5/29/22, 4:00-4:30PM Loon Mountain Summit Accessible by Gondola (please board the gondola no later than 2:45-3:00PM) Reception will follow the ceremony immediately, in the lodge at the base of Loon Mountain. We picked this mountaintop setting for our wedding ceremony because we wanted to share with you the natural beauty of the area where we have enjoyed spending so much time. We have hiked the peaks you can see in the distance from the ceremony site, and skied down the very slope where the ceremony will occur. We can't think of a place more appropriate to celebrate this special day for our family with the people we love most. We always say it's not an adventure if you know what's going to happen, so the weather might not be great but we'll hold the ceremony there as long as it is safe to do so. We'll all hope for blue skies and warm weather, but please be prepared to be on a mountain in rain, and see below for more details and suggestions.

Our Mountain Top Wedding Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Loon Mountain Amphitheater
Livermore, NH 03251

We suggest cocktail attire--perhaps something fun and festive. Please be prepared for cold weather. Bring layers!

Important Information: *The above photo depicts the ceremony site. *You'll want to be on the gondola before 3:00 to be there with time to look around the summit, greet family and friends, and find your seat. *The ceremony will be held on the mountaintop, rain or shine. *In case of extreme weather (lightning, high winds) the ceremony will be indoors by the fireplace. *Ponchos will be provided. BYO umbrella and possibly a stadium seat cushion, if you like. *The ceremony site and reception hall is wheelchair accessible. *The ceremony site is on a "black diamond" ski trail, which means it's rather steep. Take your time getting to the seating. We have waited 2 years and can wait a little longer for you to get safely and comfortably seated. *As a wedding guest you are entitled to a round-trip gondola ride, so please don't buy a ticket. *Please see our FAQs for more information.

We suggest fun and festive cocktail attire.

Good news for all you indoor cats: We will be indoors for the reception! The lodge is at the base of Loon Mountain and will be easy to find once you're there. It is also where we will have the ceremony if it is not safe to do so on the top of the mountain. If for any reason you're not comfortable heading up the mountain in a gondola, or you don't want to sit outside in crummy weather, you can meet us here at 5PM. (But try the gondola! It's fun!) The lodge is wheelchair accessible although the accessible bathroom is a little hard to find, so just ask Lydia or Thad, or someone who works there if you need it.
