Reservations are most definitely needed! Just a few steps from the doors of Hotel Carmichael, The Bake Shop is a cute place to grab some dessert!
This is a really fun place to hang out. Take the Monon Trail for a five minute walk, next to Hotel Carmichael, to hang out here. Sun King is a local brewery and outside of here there is a space with a tv, ping pong and other fun games to hang out and spend some time with everyone!
Hands down our favorite restaurant that is local to Indy! A short drive away, but definitely worth it! This location specifically is for guests 21+. If you want to try it but have underage patrons, consider going to the Fishers/Geist location. Our recommendation here are the hermanaki wings!
Check out the place where we got engaged! In the heart of the Circle City is the canal. There are many good restaurants within a few minutes of the canal.
Learn about all things IndyCar and the historical Indy 500! Get some insight to what Alex does for a living! This museum is fairly cheap and a great way to get into what living in Indiana is like, especially around the month of May!
Fun restaurant with a great atmosphere. Great place to go if you are craving bar food. Our recommendations here are the Badger burger and the wings! Just a five minute walk down the Monon Trail near the hotel. This is located next to the Sun King Brewery.

One of our favorite places to buy tshirts! If you're looking for a fun souvenir, The Shop is your place!
See the biggest landmark in Indy, the Soldiers and Sailors monument. Fun fact: Indy is called the Circle City because the Soldiers and Sailors monument is in the middle of a giant roundabout! Carmel, the city we are getting married in, is the roundabout capital of the world!
The Carmel Arts District is about a five minute walk from the venue! There are tons of shops, restaurants and things to do!

Our favorite local pizza place! If you don't feel like going out, this would be a great option to order to the hotel! Our favorite is their chicken, bacon, ranch pizza! Try their famous Stix. Their ranch is to die for!
Broad Ripple is a fun place to go out and get drinks! If you happen to stop by Kilroys, their long island iced teas and stuffed breadsticks are the best!
THE best place for brunch in Indy! You have to try their cinnamon toast!!!
