Guest arrival is 4:30pm eastern time with the ceremony starting at 5pm. There is a complimentary champagne toast in the hotel bar at 4pm to start the festivities!
We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture our day! While we understand that our guests will be excited to take pictures and share them with everyone, we kindly ask that you refrain from having your phones out at our ceremony. We thank you for cooperating!
Yes, both our ceremony and reception will be at Hotel Carmichael. Our ceremony, weather permitting, will be outside next to Hotel Carmichael and the Carmel Palladium and our reception will be in the Hotel Carmichael ballroom.
Yes! The bar will close down during dinner, however there will be wine available as well as a champagne toast. The bar will be open from cocktail hour to dinner and then resume after first dances and speeches.
The dress code is formal/black tie optional! Men should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie or a tuxedo if they prefer. Women should wear a floor-length gown, knee-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates.
There is complimentary self parking in the surface lot in front of the hotel entrance, along with the garage underground. There is also a parking garage near The Cake Bake Shop called Veteran's Way Garage. Please note, the city owns the garages. Although parking is complimentary, they cannot control how many spaces are available. There is also valet parking which is $20.00 per night.
