Turns out "opposites attract" works for friendships too! We may be different, but Tiff has been someone who is there no matter the situation and I am so glad to have her as my Matron of Honor. At least our styles have upgraded slightly since elementary!

Brought together by the awfulness of histology, kept together by the inability to study alone, and still using each other as an excuse to procrastinate every day. So glad I found a bestie for life while trudging through med school - and now we get to see our "studying" efforts on Pinterest come to life!

The first person I had to share a room with besides family, and our friendship survived! Somehow the WSU roommate algorithm got it right - between sticky note filled doorways, convincing me to join Facebook, late night monopoly delirium and getting the "snail song" stuck in my head at least once a week something must have stuck because 15 years later we're still going strong!

Co-workers on the USS Denver in Deck Department in the early 00s. They later took a trip to Chiba to go to OzzFest and became good friends, even if Keltor did lose his glasses in a CrossFaith moshpit and have to share Tyler's when Sabbath came on. They have traveled all over SE Asia/Oceania and more recently have done a number of escape rooms along the West Coast. Everything was great...until Kelly went snowboarding with Tyler...oh, and Tyler started cheating in Valheim

Co-workers while stationed on Whidbey Island who shared their first deployment to the Middle East together, and then to Europe. Both big fans of everything sci-fi, computer, and military related they have kept in contact even though their duty stations have sent them apart. They still routinely play the newest games together and talk about everything nerd. Now the only thing left is for Wade to paint some minis for Tyler, and for him to start reading all of the 40k lore books Tyler has given him.

They first became diving buddies in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and later snowboarding buddies in Mizuho, Japan. When Tyler got sent to Washington State years later he met up with Collin again they were able to go rock-climbing, do escape rooms, and attend board game nights semi-regularly. Even though they are on opposite coasts they still make time to catch up and regularly play computer games with each other.

Along with Ishita, Felipe has been there from the beginning of our relationship. When thinking about who should officiate, and finding someone who knows us both we couldn't think of anyone better (as long as there is no combining scrub tops and khakis for the ceremony).
