COVID/General FAQs

Here are some answers we think might be helpful. Please reach out if your question is not listed, and check back for any updates (particularly relating to COVID protocols)
Question

What is your COVID safety plan?

Answer

We certainly understand the difficulty and worries in attending a large event in the current environment and want to make sure our guests of all ages and health are as safe as possible. While we know this may not be possible for everyone and appreciate the nuances to certain decisions, we ask that you help us keep ourselves and loved ones safe by abiding by the following if you plan to attend: - Be fully vaccinated and boosted (14 days from last dose) at the time of the wedding if of eligible age. Current eligibility is 6 months old+ for vaccines and 5+ years old for boosters. - Wear a mask at all times unless actively eating, taking a picture, or if you are further than 6ft from all other persons - Get tested prior to the event ****we understand this may be difficult, if you are not sure how to make this happen please reach out to someone in the bridal party or to Erika and Tyler that so we can make a plan to party safely***

Question

Will you be checking vaccination status?

Answer

Yes - please email your vaccination information to pacingdrlund@gmail.com, or bring your card when you arrive at the venue.

Question

If I am not vaccinated (and am > 5 years of age) or don't plan to get tested, can I still attend?

Answer

As mentioned above and on the events page, if you do not plan on being vaccinated and/or tested we kindly ask that you not attend for the safety of all guests. We appreciate this is a nuanced decision for many, and you can contact us if you have questions, though we will still request all those invited to respect this requirement of attendance.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the shuttle station no later than 4:30 PM as there is a 10 minute ride to the ceremony location. Please keep in mind that the shuttle pick up station is about a 3 block walk on the park trails and may take some time after arrival to get there. Our greeter will be in front of the ticket booth to review park maps and timing, starting at 3:00 PM at which point you will be allowed in without the charge of admission. You are welcome to visit the part prior to our greeter being available, though you will be responsible for your own admission if you choose to do so. Tram tickets are not included in the wedding (unless you have secured a spot on the post-ceremony tram) and will need to be purchased separately. If interested in purchasing a tram, please contact us to find out best timing to avoid missing the shuttle to the ceremony.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 8/01/2022

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not specifically - please consider the outdoor venue/weather in your attire. For guidance, we would appreciate cocktail/business casual attire, and all military personnel will only need to wear civilian clothes.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation to see how many guests in your party were accounted for. The RSVP link will also tell you how many spots have been reserved for your party

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Please see our COVID safety plan for ages and requirements to attend, and your invitation to see how many people have been allotted for your party.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our travel page for group discount links.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Northwest Trek has an abundance of free parking available

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. However - please reach out to Erika or Tyler to see if we know of any other guests that will be staying near you, or of any carpool availabilities.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

No, with consideration to our guests' time and COVID safety we are not having any other wedding events (besides some yard games).

Question

How do we request a spot on the reception tram?

Answer

Indicate on your RSVP if you would like to be on the tram or shuttled back to the reception/cocktail hour. As we mentioned, space is limited - if we start having more people requesting than available spots we may ask those that have been to NWT previously to allow guests from out-of-town the opportunity to experience the park at its best! We will also be waiting to hear from NWT that trams are active and proceeding as they complete renovations

Question

Is there a bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a cash bar with beer, wine, liquor and standard mixers for purchase. While there is an ATM available, please be prepared to have cash and card available as "touchless" payment may be requested. **Please keep safety in mind as there will likely be a 1+ hour drive on rural roads after the reception to get to your destination.**
