For those of you who don't love wine (how are we even friends?), Northern California is also home to quite a few well-known breweries. From Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa, to Bear Republic Brewery in Healdsburg, to the brand new Stone Brewing location in downtown Napa, you won't be stuck only drinking Cabernet the whole weekend.
Fall in Wine Country is unlike anything else, so get outside! Some of our favorite trails in the area are Skyline Wilderness Park, Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve, Sugarloaf, Coyote Peak, Mt. Tamalpias, and Mt. Saint Helena. If you prefer the water, guided kayaking tours are an absolute blast. Plus, you might be lucky enough to spot the infamous Napa River dolphin.
If you need a break from the wine, there are incredible golf courses throughout the area! A few of Luke's favorites in Napa are Chardonnay Golf Club, the Silverado Resort & Spa's course, Eagle Vines Golf Club, and The Vintner's Golf Club, or The Fountaigngrove Club in Santa Rosa.
Who doesn't love a good pampering? Luckily, Napa & Sonoma are home to world-class spas. Grace's favorite is Indian Springs in Calistoga, but you can't go wrong with Silverado Resort & Spa, Meritage Resort & Spa, Solage, Hotel Healdsburg, or pretty much anywhere in Calistoga that says "Volcanic Mud Baths."
