Luke and Teresa first met during the medical society sports day event at the University of Queensland, where Teresa had asked Luke if he did any sports and he replied that he played soccer. After 6 years of dating, she has never once seen him kick a ball. In his defence, he used to play before moving up to Queensland (he made me say this). After medical school, they moved to Townsville as they were inseparable, and did not want the health system to keep them apart. They are now medical and surgical registrars in the Townsville Hospital, and live in a beautiful (though often messy) house.
