The museum Luke works at! He has opened two exhibits recently.
Whenever Kati visits Luke at work or Luke brings people to the museum we always stop at this amazing BBQ joint and make a day of it. Kati usually gets the brisket and Luke gets whatever fun special they have. We both love the mustardy potato salad.
Kati enjoys kayaking when the weather is nice. From this boathouse you can get great views of Georgetown, the Washington Monument, and Lincoln Memorial.
Luke and Kati often go here during a long waterfront walk with Winnie or before catching a movie. Their fries are delicious and Kati often orders an off-menu cocktail the "Sweet Caroline," a concoction that tastes like sweet peach tea. This is also where we had our engagement party!
Luke and Kati had their "second stop" of their first date here. It is a solid place to grab a drink and chat the night away.
This is Kati's number one happy hour spot. The lumpia can't be beat! All of the food and drinks are excellent. We recommend sitting on the patio if you can. You're guaranteed to see some of Kati's students that way.
