The ceremony is in the neighborhood of Georgetown where it can be difficult to find street parking. The church does not have its own parking lot. We recommend taking the hotel shuttle to the ceremony or walking--it is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotels. The reception location, St. Francis Hall, has ample parking. We will also have shuttles running there, however, and encourage everyone to drive safely. You can leave the cars in the lot overnight if needed.
Short answer: yes. Long answer: the decisions we have made going into this wedding have largely centered adult fun. There will be drinking, dancing, and swear words in songs. So bring at your own risk! We encourage you to make a decision that will allow you to have the most fun but also one that will allow you to be there to make memories.
For the wedding please dress formally, such as dresses and button down shirts with slacks. We can't wait to see what fun clothes everyone wears so showcase your personal style how you like. For the welcome party, feel free to dress more casually but still cute of course.
