Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive at 3:00! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm and we want everyone seated by 3:25. You are welcome to grab a drink when you arrive and mingle with other guests inside or outside prior to the ceremony.

Question

How can I get to the venue if I don't want to drive?

Answer

We will be providing shuttles to and from our hotel block hotels for your convenience! Please see our Travel page for these details. Our venue is in the country so we strongly encourage using this option for anyone who plans to be enjoying the benefits of the open bar as Uber/Lyft is not readily available. Should anyone choose to drive themselves and find themselves unable to drive home for any reason, vehicles are allowed to stay parked on the property and you can take the shuttles back to the hotels. You will need to pickup your vehicles the following morning no later than 8:30 AM.

Will I need a car?

Answer

If you plan to explore beyond Concord or downtown Boston area you will need a car. Otherwise we will be providing transportation to and from the venue from downtown Concord where there are plenty of coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants within walking distance of our hotels. If you are planning on spending time in downtown Boston we recommend using public transit while you are in the city and only renting a car once you are ready to drive to NH or using Concord Coach lines instead as parking is expensive and driving in the city is tedious. From Boston Logan Airport the silver line is a free public transit bus that will take you to and from the airport to South Station downtown where you can walk or transfer to any other T line to get wherever you want to go in the city.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Should you choose to drive yourself, there is ample parking available at the venue and handicap parking/entrances available on the left side of the building for those who may need it.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that everyone dresses their best! Jacket and ties for the guys and cocktail dresses for ladies. Ladies be warned that our ceremony will take place in a grassy field so wearing thin heals is not recommended. Weather in New Hampshire in late September will likely be in the high 50's with temperatures potentially dropping at night so you may wish to bring a light jacket. Coat check will be available during the reception.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors weather permitting. The ceremony space is directly in the back yard of where our reception will take place. For cocktail hour you are welcome to bring your drinks and apps outside or mingle indoors. Dinner and the reception will take place indoors in the heated barn.

Can I take pictures/videos?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony! Please keep all cell phones on silent and out of site during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer who will make sure everything is captured and we will share the photos after the event! During the reception, we encourage you to take as many photos/videos as you'd like and share them on social media using our wedding hashtag #happyaskubi.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to you and a guest absolutely! Please be sure to RSVP for them as well. Otherwise we are only able to accomodate those who received invitations.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

While your presence is a gift in itself, should you wish to give a gift due to logistical and security reasons we ask that all gifts be shipped directly to us if possible. We will also have a small table for any cards you wish to bring with you.
