Where is Midnight Ranch?

We see our wedding as more of a weekend long celebration rather than a one-day event, to maximize our time with each and every one of our beloved guests. When visiting Midnight Ranch, about one hour outside Steamboat Springs, we could envision all of our family and friends sitting around the fire, enjoying the good company and gorgeous views. While it is a bit of a drive to get there, we hope the remote location, untouched wilderness, and stunning natural beauty of the area will serve as a much needed retreat for our travelers from near and far! Please note that there is no cell reception or internet service at Midnight Ranch. Google's directions to Midnight Ranch are excellent and there will be signs starting 4 miles out. The wedding party will have an emergency phone for any lost travelers.

Flight

Denver International Airport

Denver International Airport is a convenient hub with numerous daily flights from nearly all major US cities. To avoid excessively lengthy travel days, we recommend flying into Denver the day before you plan to drive up to the Steamboat Springs area to check into your lodging. If this is not possible with your travel itinerary, try to arrive to Denver early in the day, as the drive from Denver International Airport to Midnight Ranch is approximately 4-4.5 hours. Don't worry, the drive is sure to impress with gorgeous mountain views. If you are flying into Denver and are interested in carpooling up to Steamboat, please reach out to Rachel or Matt ASAP. We will try to arrange carpooling with local and out of town guests.

AirBnb or VRBO

The gorgeous Routt National Forest outside Steamboat Springs is home to many stunning homes available for rent through Airbnb or VRBO. Some of these vacation homes sleep as many as 20 people, perfect for a big friend group or large family! We recommend choosing one that is no more than a 30 minute drive to Midnight Ranch, so you'll easily be able to take part in all the weekend festivities! Book early to ensure the best options and availability.

Camp at Midnight Ranch

Stay on the Ranch with us! ♥ Tent Option: Bring your tent and sleeping bags up for the night of the wedding. Party with us until the wee hours and then roll into your tent! ♥ RV Option: Stay at the Ranch all weekend with a self-contained RV. Bring up your own or consider renting one for the weekend! Check out 'Around the Park RV Rentals' for rental options. Campers are not allowed to use the cabins' bathrooms but will have access to porta potties. Please let us know if you plan on camping when RSVPing online. Limited space available. $20 per tent/RV.

The Cabins at Historic Columbine

Just 4 miles from Midnight Ranch the Columbine Cabins are the closest lodging to the wedding venue! Stay in one of their fourteen rustic log cabins nestled among the aspens in the historic mining town of Columbine, Colorado. If you'd like to stay here, book your cabin ASAP to ensure availability! This property is an approximately 10 minute drive from Midnight Ranch.

Glen Eden Resort

Just 16 miles from Midnight Ranch, Glen Eden is an ideal lodging option for Rachel and Matt's wedding weekend! Enjoy a rustic cabin with all the modern amenities surrounded by aspen trees and the serene Elk River. The property has 30+ uniquely appointed cabins which can sleep 4-6 people. If you'd like to stay here, book your cabin ASAP to ensure availability! This property is an approximately 30 minute drive from Midnight Ranch.

There are hundreds of lodging options in Steamboat Springs from mountain side ski resorts to Airbnb rooms. While Steamboat is around 35 miles (or 50 minutes) from Midnight Ranch, it the nearest town to the wedding location.
