If we have included their name in the invitations (or "Guest"), then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you are still in doubt, just insert your name in the RSVP form and see if there is just you or if there is a guest added to your party.

Since Porto is such a popular destination, we recommend you to book a place as soon as you book your flights or know your schedule.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal/Cocktail. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Ladies: Mind that parts of the wedding will be outside on the grass, so stilettos are not advised.

I see there is a pool. Should I bring my swimsuit?

Answer

No. Swimming is reserved for the beach. We suggest Praia da Madalena in Gaia.

If I miss the shuttle to the wedding destination, how do I get there?

Answer

Take a taxi to Quinta do Gestal, R. Dom Frei Almeida Vasconcelos 680, Leça do Balio. Get one from the street, ask the nearest hotel to order you a taxi, or call +351 22 507 6400.

What's the best way of getting around town?

Answer

We think that the metro will be the best option for most guests. Tickets are 12kr per trip, or 40kr per day traveling within 1 zone. All the info you need is found here: http://en.metrodoporto.pt/pages/397 The metro tickets also work for the busses in Porto. The adventurous may like to rent a bike - beware there are a lot of hills in Porto!
