Welcome party will be a casual gathering at Pollyanna in St. Charles. Pizza will be served around 6:30pm w/ cash bar! We will have the upstairs area but you’re welcome to wander.

After Party Details?

We will be gathering in the Fabyan Room at the Comfort Inn & Suites immediately following the wedding reception! There will be cheap beer and snacks but feel free to BYO if you have nicer tastes. We have the room til 1am.

Where is the Wedding Taking Place?

Answer

Our wedding will be taking place at Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn, Illinois. Please visit the Schedule tab for full details of all wedding related events.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While October is arguably the most beautiful month of the year, the temperature can be highly variable! When choosing your outfit for our wedding, do consider dressing for the chance of cooler temperatures. We will be having festivities both indoors and outdoors and would love for our guests to be comfortable enough to explore Heritage Prairie Farm's beautiful property to the fullest. Guests may choose to wear anything from cocktail to formal attire - whatever you are comfortable and confident in! We love fun colors and prints and encourage guests to choose longer length dresses, suits, or jumpsuits; and to dress in layers. If choosing to wear heels, consider block heels or wedges for walking around in grassy areas at times.

Will there be a bar at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar at our wedding for all of our 21+ guests to enjoy. If you are not planning on taking a shuttle back to the hotel, please coordinate who will be your designated driver. Ubers/Lyft will likely be available too!

Free parking will be available at Heritage Prairie Farm for those choosing to drive.

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

If you would like to honor us with a gift, please do so through our registry. Since we are traveling for our own wedding, cards will be the only physical gift accepted at the venue.

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

All save the dates and invitations will be directly addressed to those invited. Please do not RSVP for or bring additional guests or children.

How can I notify you about my food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Food will be served family style but accommodations can be made if you notify us in advance. Please note this does not extend to food preferences.
