You will be sorely missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
We want ALL of our guests to have a good time and feel safe! We encourage all of our guests to be fully vaccinated due to several members of the wedding party and family having immune-compromised members or members who cannot yet be vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated and do not plan to be by Nov. 5, we are asking you to choose one of the following options: 1. Wear a mask, covering BOTH the nose and mouth, at all times, unless eating or drinking. 2. Have a negative Covid test, and isolate after you get a negative test result before you attend any wedding events.
We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP . Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail-attire, this means cocktail, semi-formal dresses and jumpsuits. Suits should be accompanied with a tie but feel free to take the sports coat/tie off when you're ready to dance!! Wear whatever color you like, but please, do not wear white clothing, daytime/informal dresses or jeans.
We love all of your little ones! However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation.
Please DO NOT take any photos during the ceremony. We are asking guests to respect our wishes for an unplugged ceremony, so please do not have your cell phones/devices on during the ceremony - this is a worship service. After the ceremony, however, we would LOVE for you to take photos and share them by using the hashtag #lovingthehighlife or tagging us on social media!!
Yes! The drinks will be on us, as long as you're on the dance floor! We will have a few selections of beers/cider and a white and red wine selection.
We will have a fruit and cheese assortment, BBQ Pork and Chicken, grilled veggies, a mashed potato bar, and green beans! We will also have good 'ole Southern Sweet Tea, Lemonade and Water.
Yes! For the ceremony the church has plenty of parking! There are several parking garages in the area - the closest one is attached to the aLoft Hotel directly across the street from the reception venue City Art. *There may be a per-hour fee
Unfortunately, we will not be providing transportation to and from the church. We encourage you to carpool with family/friends! The venue is about 15 miles (20 minutes) from the church. Columbia has multiple driver services include Lyft and Uber.
