Below are answers to some questions we expect you may have as you plan to join us in our wedding celebrations. For any additional questions not listed here, please feel free to reach out to Emily (774-254-1369) or Jason (201-294-7664).
Question

It's December and cold. Do we need to go outside?

Answer

Nope! All events will be held completely indoors so there is no need to go outside except when arriving/leaving the venue. A coat check will be available in the main foyer. That being said, the back patio and lawn will be open for guests to take in some fresh air and water views, with fire pits and lawn chairs available for use (weather dependent).

Question

I have a food allergy; can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please add this to your notes when you select your entree choice as we will check all of the dietary needs before speaking with the caterers. If it would provide you with more peace of mind, you can also inform Emily and Jason who will make an additional note of it.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

All invitees are included on your wedding invitation. If you feel that someone has been left off of your invitation, please reach out to Emily and Jason.

Question

Will there be transportation between the venue and the off-site hotels? Can I drive myself?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided for anyone who would prefer not to drive themselves between their hotel and the wedding venue. However, please note that if you are arriving in Newport on the day of the wedding (Friday), the hotels will not guarantee early check-in (standard 4pm check-in will be well after the ceremony) so please plan accordingly. Uber and Lyft will also be available in the area. For anyone who prefers to drive themselves, there is plenty of parking right outside the OceanCliff hotel.

Question

Will these events start on Standard Time or "Love Time"?

Answer

Emily will do her darndest to keep to society's standard of "on time" but, due to who she is as a person, her usual operating hours are based on "Love time". It therefore may be wise to factor in a ~10 minute buffer. Please allow her this leeway as she is the Bride and should not be stressed on her special day. Emily (and Jason) thank you for your support and understanding. :)
