FAQs

The Wedding Website of Allison McPeek and Christopher Libero
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP with your final count by June 14th. This is crucial for providing accurate final numbers to our vendors. You can RSVP on the website. If we don't hear from you, we'll assume you're unable to make it, and we'll miss you! We hope to celebrate with you another time.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 12:30-12:45 to allow time to navigate campus, park, and walk to the Basilica. Guests should be seated by 12:45, as the ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 PM. There are three other weddings at the Basilica that day, so we have little flexibility in time. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Where should I park for Ceremony?

Answer

Guests driving themselves will be allowed to park in the Grotto, St. Liam’s, or Lyons lots as long as space is available. Turn left onto Notre Dame Ave via Angela Blvd, take a left onto Holy Cross Rd and go past the bookstore. You will come to a security gate and tell them you are here for a wedding at the Basilica. Continue on this road until you see signs for either parking lot. The Grotto lot is directly behind the Basilica and St. Liam’s is behind the Golden Dome. There will be signs and security on campus that can help direct you when arriving. Alternative parking is located along St. Mary’s Road. Handicapped parking is available for cars with ADA placards in the Grotto Lot, St. Liam’s lot, and off Sorin Circle. Anyone dropping off a guest with a disability is invited to drive the guest to one of our two ADA entrances. Guests can be dropped off at Sorin Circle and use the ADA entrance on the east side of the Basilica or may be dropped at the front of the Basilica and use the ADA entrance on the south side of the Basilica. Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Ladies, feel free to wear a stylish dress or gown. Gentlemen, a suit is ideal. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed in their evening’s finest! For those who prefer, wearing your Sunday best to the ceremony and changing into eveningwear for the reception is perfectly acceptable. Truly, there’s no pressure at all to wear two separate outfits — one look you love is more than enough! But if changing makes you feel even more confident and comfortable, that’s absolutely perfect too. Just do what feels best for you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only those who have been given a plus one on their invitation may bring a date due to limits set by the venue. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your children are invited, they will be listed on the RSVP. We kindly ask that parents watch their little ones to ensure they are well-behaved throughout the celebration! If your children are not invited (the only children invited are the children of family members), we hope you enjoy a fun date night out!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While your presence at our destination wedding is enough of a present for us, we are registered on Zola.

Question

What should I do between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

We recommend stopping by Rohr's at the Morris Inn (a short walking distance from both the Basilica and the reception venue), stopping by O'Rouke's Irish Pub or Brothers on Eddy Street, or even strolling to the Linebacker Inn for a quick pint at one of the couple's favorite bar from their college days! You can check out our recommendations under "Things to Do". We recommend taking a campus tour to see The Grotto, Touchdown Jesus, Joyce Center & the Football Stadium! There's also the Raclin Art Museum located on the Notre Dame campus that has free entry, and would be a nice backdrop to pictures before the reception!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at the Morris Inn on campus, the Fairfield Suites by Marriott (across the street from the reception venue and where we will be providing a shuttle), and the Hilton Garden Inn and Suites (on the Saint Mary’s College Campus, where we will be providing a shuttle). Please see the Travel Section for more information. We also recommend airbnbs, and hotels in the nearby Granger/Mishawaka!

Question

How can I take an Official Tour of Notre Dame Campus?

Answer

The Eck Visitors Center’s free public tour offers a historical and social overview of life at Notre Dame. Most tours will include visits to the Grotto, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Main Building (the Golden Dome), and the Hesburgh Library (“Touchdown Jesus”). Guided public tours are available at various times throughout the year. Groups of 10 or more must arrange for a private tour. Tours are limited to the first 25 people who register within 30 minutes of the tour in person at the Eck Visitors Center. Advance reservations and telephone reservations are not accepted. Tours on Friday are at 10:00 AM. 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM EST. Tours of Notre Dame Stadium are scheduled separately. For details on scheduling a stadium tour, see the following link: https://und.com/stadium-experiences/

Question

How do the shuttles work?

Answer

Shuttle service will be provided for guests to take to/from the ceremony and to/from the reception to the respective hotel locations: Hilton Garden Inn (near the Inn at Saint Mary's), Fairfield Suites (near the Embassy Suites). Exact pickup/drop off times to come.

Question

Where can I park for the Reception?

Answer

The Reception is held in Corbett Family Hall on the east side of Notre Dame Stadium. Guests are welcome to utilize the stadium lot for parking (we recommend parking by the B gates, closer to Joyce Center not closer to the Duncan student center). Guests will enter the reception just beyond the B gates at Door 4. Reminder, we will have shuttle service available to the hotels, and Ubers/Lyfts are readily available as well!

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing blue. We think blue is beautiful, so there's no need to avoid it. We want you to feel fantastic and celebrate with us! Please choose an outfit that makes you feel happy and ready to party! :)

Question

What if I have another question?

Answer

If you have any questions that aren't on this list, please email Chris and Allison at chris.allison.wedding2025@gmail.com, and we will get back to you ASAP!
