One of the first things we do each time we visit London is take a stroll along the south bank of the River Thames. Also known as The Queen’s Walk, it’s a 2-hour leisurely stroll that is a great introduction to some of London’s most iconic sites, including Tower of London, the Tate Modern art gallery, Shakespeare's Globe, the London Eye, Westminster, and so much more. Stop at one of the many pubs along the way for a drink with a view :)
Our go-to spot in London for a bite and a pint! Large food hall (with several different types of cuisine), indoor and outdoor seating, cocktail bars, on-site brewery, and wine bars. We will also be having our welcome party here!
London’s highest public garden! A skyscraper with indoor garden, bar and incredible views of the city. Free to visit (just book a time slot in advance) and the spot of our very first date 🥰
Oldest pub on the River Thames and the original 1620 mooring point of the Pilgrim Father’s Mayflower ship! Delicious traditional pub food and a great ambiance.
An outdoor market (with food trucks) along with artisanal shopping! Jordan lived right across the street during the year she studied at LSE, and would often stop by for lunch after morning classes. Food from The Duck Truck is a personal favorite!
Incredible cocktail bar in an old tube station! Recommend booking roughly three weeks in advance (book an underground table).
Founded in 1824, this art gallery houses one of the greatest collection of paintings in the world - with more than 2300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to present.
Our favorite restaurant chain in London! Incredible steak (at a bargain price) and some of the best chips (fries) you’ll find in the city. There are several locations in London, but we consider the Covent Garden location - the OG - the best.
London's oldest wine bar set in an underground cave! No reservations. For an evening drink, arrive by 4:45 pm to avoid having to wait in line.
A beautiful park of woodland and meadows, perfect for a leisurely stroll and incredible views of central London. It is the park that first inspired C.S. Lewis to write The Chronicles of Narnia! A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
