Imagine yourself at a fancy restaurant on the French Riviera. What would you be wearing? Perhaps you would choose bright colors and patterns, and elegant textures like satin or linen. Perhaps you would be in a suit and tie, a blazer and dress pants, sleek jumpsuits, or knee-length to maxi dresses with a bit of structure. In general, cocktail attire is more elevated than semi-formal but not as dressy as formal, but we won't mind if you choose something a little fancier!
There is no requirement to follow a color scheme but if it helps, the wedding colors are coral, blush, peach, light blue, butter yellow, and dark blue. The bridesmaids will be wearing steel blue, and the groomsmen will be wearing navy blue.
May in Philly is a beautiful time. Temperatures usually average mid-70s to 80s, with sunshine and a light breeze. The ceremony will be outdoors, but in the event of rain, all festivities will be moved inside the College.
Yes, once you have received your formal invitation, you must RSVP to confirm your seat, even if you have already done so prior. This is to ensure the guest list is up to date, especially as your plans may change. The deadline to RSVP is APRIL 25.
There will not be parking available. Philly has tight and narrow streets that are better walked than driven, and we encourage you to take advantage of this. All hotel blocks are within walking distance as well.
Initial photos were taken by Sunny's talented resident colleague and friend, Dr. Cordelia McGehee. Formal engagement photos were taken by our fantastic wedding photographer, John Barone.
The museum will be open during cocktail hour.
