Flight
O'Hare is the larger of two airports in Chicago. If you are travelling directly to Chicago from abroad, you will likely land at O'Hare. Transportation to Hyde Park can be done via rented car, taxi or ride share (45 minutes to 1 hour), or by public transportation (about 1.5 hours via the Blue Line and either Metra or #6 bus).
Flight
Midway Airport is located on the southwest side of Chicago, and is closer to Hyde Park than O'Hare. Hyde Park can be reached via rented car, taxi or ride share (30 minutes), or bus (#55 or #59 route, 45 minutes to 1 hour). The Orange Line train also operates between Midway and downtown Chicago (30 minutes).
