Things To Do
Our wedding will be held in Hyde Park on Chicago's South Side. Hyde Park is home to the University of Chicago where Louis attended college. While in Hyde Park you can enjoy the neighborhood's vibrant restaurant scene, check out one of the several local museums, or even catch a glimpse of the former home of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
Beyond Hyde Park, downtown Chicago (or "The Loop") is also known for its beautiful skyline, including the former Sears Tower (now unfortunately renamed Willis Tower), as well as Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier. The Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum, and the Shedd Aquarium are all worth a trip as well!
Chicago is a city of many diverse neighborhoods. Devon Street on Chicago's North Side hosts the city's largest South Asian community. Louis also recommends Bridgeport, Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, and Logan Square.
