There are limited AirBNBs and VRBOs right downtown. We recommend you reserve these early as Portsmouth in the summer is very popular. We have a list of other downtown/close to downtown inn/hotel choices that we don’t have room rates at. Again, we recommend you BOOK EARLY, prices will not get cheaper, and places will book up. There are also other hotels in the Seacoast area that might be cheaper but further away. Flight

Boston, MA/Manchester, NH/Portland, ME

The most flight options will probably be out of Logan Airport in Boston. Logan Airport is a little over an hour from Portsmouth. If you'd prefer to not rent a car, C&J bus lines goes from Logan to Portsmouth. But you will need transportation from the C&J drop-off in Portsmouth to downtown Portsmouth, which is about a 5 min drive. You could also take the Amtrak Train from Boston's North Station to Durham, NH and take Uber/Lyft from there. Manchester, NH Airport is about ~50 mins from Portsmouth. (Less flight options than Boston.) Portland, ME Airport is ~50 mins from Portsmouth. (Less flight options than Boston.)
