Wedding Weekend Welcome Party

Casual Attire
Come hang out or stop by and say hi if you are in the area early. This is a chance to to be able to talk more with the Bride and Groom before the craziness of the big day. This is also the time to meet new faces and see old friends before we all dance the night away. We will provide some light snacks and drinks (and maybe a sweet treat), but we recommend eating dinner on your own before the party. Parking: You can park in the driveway, on the street, at the Durham Holiday Inn, or the Durham Landing Parking Lot.

Shreddin' for the Weddin' Barre Class

Work-out attire
Come join the bride and groom at their local barre studio for a fun 45 minute private barre-style workout class. This is a low impact workout class that is suitable for all ages. The link to sign up will be provided one-month before the ceremony. (Space is limited and price will be ~$15.)
Explore the Moffatt-Ladd Gardens and Mansion

Wedding attire
We'd love for our guests to have time before the ceremony to enjoy the beautiful Historical Moffatt-Ladd Gardens and Mansion which date back to 1764, located in the heart of Portsmouth. The mansion and gardens will be open an hour prior to the ceremony for guests to explore. There will be museum docents around to answer any questions you might have on the history of the house/gardens as you explore.

Suits, cocktail dresses, semi-formal, formal wear are all welcome. Make sure to wear those dancin'-walkin' shoes!
You are more than welcome to come early to enjoy music, a pre-ceremony drink, and explore the Gardens and Mansion. The ceremony will take place outside in the Gardens promptly at 3:30pm. Cocktail hour and reception will follow at 3S Art Space.
Wedding Reception
4:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The cocktail hour and reception will take place a short walk down the road at 3S Art Space. Do not fret, the music will guide you 😉! If you are unable to walk, you will need to find your own method of transportation via ride-share or your own vehicle. There is paid-street parking near each venue.
After Party

Let's keep the fun going at one of the bride and groom's favorite local spots. Cup of Joe is a fun coffee shop by day and espresso bar by night. Tonight it will be closed to the public as the location of the wedding after-party; for those who aren't quite ready to end the best night of the summer. (This is located near the Moffatt-Ladd house and the Hilton Garden Hotel about .5 mi from 3S Art Space)

Farewell Brunch

Completely optional. The bride and groom will be at Buckley's Market & Cafe having breakfast and would love to see you to say goodbye. Stop by and order some breakfast and hangout with us. Or just stop by and say goodbye. Buckley's is a short walk from the Hilton Garden.
