Is my sunscreen reef safe?
Answer
Hawaii law bans sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate to protect coral reefs. Valid, reef-safe sunscreen must be mineral-based, using only zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as active ingredients.

Are all of the events mandatory for everyone?
Answer
No! The only events we are expecting everyone to attend are the wedding ceremony, dinner, and farewell drinks. The rest of the activities are for whoever signed up to participate. We want you to enjoy your vacation!

What is the dress code?
Answer
For the ceremony, we are requesting that the ladies wear sunset colors (shades of pink + orange) and the guys wear white long sleeves and khaki shorts or pants. No dress code for the rest of the events!

Where is the ceremony and what time do we need to be there?
Answer
If you're Googling the location, please look for: Kukio "keiki" Beach Public Parking If you Google Kikaua Point Park, it will take you through the private neighborhood, which is incorrect. From the highway turn onto Kukio Nui Drive. Follow the road and you will come upon a guard shack. Tell the guard you’re "heading to the beach" and they will give you a green, laminated parking permit to place on your dashboard. You will circle back around the guard shack and head back towards the highway. Take your first right on the frontage road before reaching the highway. There will be a second gate where you will push the call button and it will call security to open the second gate. Follow the road until you hit the beach parking lot. There will be one more gate to drive through. This gate will open automatically and follow to beach parking. There's a nice paved trail down to the beach. I will meet you at the beach entrance in front of the restroom building. We should have everyone plan to arrive around 4:45 pm. Please ask everyone to carpool as much as possible, parking is limited at Kikaua.
