Wedding Party

Meet our wedding party and some of the people who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Veeron "Vee" Flemming

Maid of Honor

Vee and I met at Oakwood University while going through the nursing program. We quickly formed a friendship after realizing we had so many classes together. We also quickly learned that we have something in common- We're Island girls!!...lol. A tightly knit bond was formed and we have been inseparable ever since! Vee is funny, super caring, smart and has a personality out of this world!! There is never a dull moment with her and I am extremely blessed to call her friend. Get you a best friend like Vee- not this one, she's taken! :)

Jordan Vargas

Best Man

Bestfriend of the groom and ultimate hype man! Jordan and I met while working at Camp Kulaqua for Summer Camp and quickly formed a brotherhood that has lasted over 7 years. From the crazy road trips to the deep convos that develop out of nowhere. A true ride-or-die, Jordan is the kind of friend you can expect to always have a good time with and definitely count on in tough times. I mean you gotta be tough when you're a Magic fan 😏

Chaunielle "Chaunie" David

Maid of Honor

Chaunie and I actually met while living on the same island years ago while Chaunie's dad was one of the pastors on the island. However, we became really close when we reunited at Oakwood University! Chaunie and Vee were actually roommates, and we all lived in the same dorm; And so, naturally, we became a trio. Chaunie is such a beautiful soul; very gentle and loving and knows what she wants! Very fun and bubbly personality as well- this is why we remain such great friends! All we do is laugh and have fun together, I love you Chaunie!

David Vargas

Groomsman

David is hands down one of the wisest and funniest guys I know! We met while both working at Camp Kulaqua for the summer and really got close after we worked together as co-directors. David is a man of great integrity who always challenges me to think outside the box and to value reason over unsubstantiated opinion. Glad to have him as part of the wedding party and even happier to have him as a close compadre!

Tanesha “Tan Tan” Hypolite

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride: Tan Tan and I grew up together and had always been close, from going to church together, pathfinders, etc. We drifted apart for a bit after Tanesha moved far from home for a few years. But after coming back to the US, and ultimately moving back home, we quickly reconnected without skipping a beat. I was so happy to be able to share in Tanesha’s big day in Jan 2019; and I'm excited to have her be a part of mine as well! There’s never a dull moment when tan tan’s around!

Jeremiah Philogene

Groomsman

Cousin to the groom but seen as more of a brother! Jeremiah and I have basically known each other since birth and even shared a room during our preteen years lol. Jeremiah is the kind of guy who will have you laughing at the most random things but will also drop a word on you when it comes to the Word. A great man with a great heart. Proud to call him fam and have him as a groomsman. Fun fact he recently got engaged to one of the bridesmaids, wanna guess who??

Kayresha “Kaeda” Collins-Corum

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride: Kaeda and I have been two peas in a pod since we were little. Always excited to hang out with each other, from going to the beach, singing in church together, forming a "wild team" of adventurers when we were little (inside joke ...lol ) and even moving to Florida. Kaeda always said whenever I got engaged, she would find a way to be there no matter where she was; hiding in the bushes to surprise me. Lo and behold, that is exactly where she was and what she did, the night Arthur proposed to me..haha!! She flew down from Virginia... and hid in the bushes, just to be in on the surprise for her cousin’s happy moment!! I love her dearly and i'm so glad to have her be a part of this big day!

Anthony Simon

Groomsman

Arthur's Haitian brother from another mother! Anthony and I were pretty much cut from the same cloth, being a product of Adventist education and always thinking about ways to become the best versions of ourselves. This man Anthony has been a constant source of support and wisdom throughout the years. A man of ambition, creative genius, and most importantly a man of great integrity and faith. Proud to have this guy as a friend and have him stand with me as I get married. Oh and in case you missed the story of how Arthur and Lonnie met, Anthony is basically the reason this wedding is happening at all lol.

Nathalia “Thalia” Horne

Bridesmaid

Thalia and I met back at home in the Virgin Islands. We actually met at church, where Thalia had just became a new member along with her family some years ago. Us girls became fast friends and remained good friends ever since! I'm super excited to have Thalia share in me and Arthur's special day; a day that we've talked about on occasion but never knew when it might actually come! Thalia has a big heart, however, she also doesn’t play games lol, and she definitely speaks her mind. She’s honest, loyal and has a quiet spirit, but most of all she has been a great friend to me from the beginning!

Haris "Bud" Domond Jr.

Groomsman

My man Haris and I have been friends since those diaper days! We're basically brothers just with different last names. Growing up we always wondered what we'd be like as adults and now that "we're here" it's cool to see that we stuck to our principles and continued to follow our faith. A man of great integrity and talent. He's a God-fearing, music-loving, big-hearted guy that will leave you laughing and enjoying life anytime you meet him.

Nicole "Niki" Erichsen

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride: This fun-loving, low-key wild (lol), bubbly, ray of sunshine Nicole, captures the heart of anyone and everyone around her! I had the privilege of sharing in Nicole's big day in Dec 2018 and now I'm excited to have her be a part of my big day as well. Niki is friendly, charismatic, funny and just a beautiful person in and out! You will love having Nicole around any day!

Les George

Groomsman

As an older brother of the bride, Les is a man of few words but with great impact. From the first time he met Arthur, he was cool and laidback; as opposed to being the overbearing brother who antagonizes his baby sister's boyfriend. But don't be fooled by his laidback demeanor, if you challenge Les to a match of any kind (like dominoes or any game on Xbox) then don't be surprised when this laidback guy schools you. And when you catch him at the right time, Les will also have you cracking up laughing. As they say, never judge a book by its cover.

Farah Pierre

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Groom: I met Farah when Arthur and I first started dating of course. The cousins live together in Orlando and have a good relationship. I love Farah’s sense of style, her love and commitment for the gym and her reserved and quiet personality (semi-quiet lol). I'm excited to have Farah be a part of this special day and i'm also happy to be gaining another cousin :). One can never have too many cousins! :)

Lance George

Groomsman

The oldest brother of the bride, Lance and Arthur met for the first time this past summer when they both visited Tortola. Lance is a guy who knows how to have a good time while balancing his life as a husband and loving father of two beautiful girls. He's the kind of guy that will tell you how it is but is also open to sharing different thoughts and ideas about fatherhood, marriage, success, and life in general. Oh, and whenever he's feeling up to it, he can hold a note with the best of them!

Edelle “Joy” Ocampo

Bridesmaid

I met this lovely lady Joy, while working at Advent Health. We actually worked on the same unit, but opposite shifts. As I got to know Joy, (around the time I started talking to Arthur) I found out that she was actually pretty good friends with Arthur and that she actually dates Arthur’s cousin Jeremiah (he's one of the groomsmen...lol). So it’s like we were meant to be friends. Joy and I started hanging out, and some of our favorite things to do together include going shopping (buying candles), eating Thai food and watching hallmark movies together! Joy is sweet, funny, and a "joy" to be around....see what I did there? lol.

Joseph Cartwright

Groomsman

Joseph and I developed our friendship in undergrad while both attending Southern Adventist University. However, we became close while we were both in Orlando where we church hopped, attended vespers together, and just hung out with each other. Joseph is a man of many ideas and even crazier life stories! Just start a conversation with him and you'll see. A man of great talent yet humble. Glad to have him as a friend and even happier to have him as a groomsman.

Whitney “Whit” Thomas

Bridesmaid

My girl Whit!... Whitney and I went to nursing school together and graduated together! We didn't become close until senior year of collage and even closer when we lived together briefly after graduation before moving to Florida! We bonded over talks of the future, studying for our nursing boards exam, boys ( of course lol) and just life in general, and what God has in store for us. Whitney is a great friend, hard working, super funny and beautiful and is the wonderful dog mom of my doggy nephew- milo aka miles (no judgement lol). Having her do this day with me is a pleasure and a joy!

Emmanuel Philogene

Groomsman

Basically my older brother, Emmanuel and I go back to before I could grow facial hair or dress properly lol. He's hands down one of the smartest, most down to earth guys I know and definitely someone I look up to. Whether it's catching a random matinee or just going for a drive around town, we're always able to have a good time together. Glad to call him cousin, brother, and now groomsman.

For all the days along the way
