FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

December 1, 2020 please! You can RSVP here (on the website) or by contacting Logan or Sandra by e-mail, text, or call. You can even contact our close family members! Thank you for your RSVP, it helps us coordinate tables, chairs, food, hotel blocks, and all the other things we want to have ready for you!

Question

How will Alcohol be handled at the reception?

Answer

There will be cards at the front of the reception hall during cocktail hour that can be redeemed at the bar for a domestic beer or glass of wine. We ask each person start with 1 card; although there will be leftovers for use during dinner or dancing. There is a full cash bar for cocktails or imported beer.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Sure! We provided for everyone to have a +1. We just ask that you let us know the total number of people coming when you RSVP.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We are working to confirm a special rate at a hotel in College Station. That discount code will be posted on the website by October 1. If you use the code provided and book at least 30 days before the wedding events begin (December 8), you will receive a special discounted price for our guests.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Street parking is available in Downtown Navasota. The ceremony and reception are 0.5 mile apart; parking should be readily available at both locations.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we were unable to coordinate this with the hotel. If you are traveling solo and would like to carpool- let us know! I'm sure we can find other guests who have an extra seat.

Question

What is 'cocktail attire'?

Answer

Traditionally, "a dark suit worn with a tie (a navy or charcoal grey suit is best) for men, and a shorter, party-ready dress for women, such as a little black dress or even dressy separates like a skirt and blouse". BUT we want everyone to be comfortable. So wear whatever makes you feel pretty (button down and a jeans? Go for it!) and be ready to eat, drink, and be merry!
