We would highly recommend renting a condo here with our discount code! All transportation to ceremony & reception will run from the village. In addition, this is walking distance from the DeAngelis household, where the Welcome Party will be held. If you stay here, you will not have to drive anywhere. We recommend booking ASAP as these fill up quickly! Options - Condo for 4 or Condo for 6 If you call, do not forget to reference the Hinshelwood DeAngelis wedding (Group ID 34046) to book at our discounted rate. You can also use the link below to book directly with our code already applied!

Flight
During the summer, you can fly directly into the city of Bishop. While you can connect from various airports, SFO is the easiest option and a beautiful 45 minute scenic flight over the Sierras! Once you arrive in Bishop, it is a 40 minute drive to Mammoth Lakes. You can rent a car or reserve a taxi service ahead of time! Once you arrive in Mammoth Lakes, public transportation can get you to most spots. Check out this Visit Mammoth Page for more information and links to book your flights, reserve taxis or rent a car! Besides Bishop, Reno is the next closest airport (and much bigger!). Reno is 3 hours from Mammoth Lakes and is best accessed by renting a car. The drive down from Reno on the 395 is one of our favorite drives and a must see. You will spend 3 hours staring out of the window in awe at some of the most beautiful mountains you have ever seen!
Travel Note
Driving to Mammoth is a scenic trip no matter where you come from! It is about 6 hours from LAX & SFO and an easy drive in the summer. Coming from the Bay Area, make sure you go through Yosemite National Park. We would recommend spending a few hours exploring on your way through the Eastern Sierra high country. From Southern California, you will pass the tallest peak in the lower 48, Mount Whitney! There is so much to see on either of these drives and will not be a day wasted on your way to Mammoth Lakes. *PLEASE NOTE that if you are planning to drive through Yosemite, check if a permit is required to drive through on your designated day.
Travel Note
Once you arrive in Mammoth, you will be able to use the free public transit to get anywhere around the town. Check out the information in the link below!
