Our hotel blocks are at the Hilton at Dulles International Airport and Hyatt Regency Dulles. We also have 10 rooms available at the Home2 Suites in Leesburg, VA, which is slightly closer to the venue, but our buses will not be stopping here after the ceremony. There are also plenty of AirBNBs nearby if you'd prefer that option. Please visit the "Travel" section of our wedding website for more information.
Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Guest" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only (21+) event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We will have two coach buses that will transport guests after the event from the venue to the Hilton and Hyatt hotel blocks. This will be on a first come, first served basis until the 110 seats are all claimed. You can RSVP for your bus spot when you RSVP for the wedding. Please note that this is only ONE WAY at the end of the night. We are unable to provide transportation to the venue. We recommend Ubering, a taxi service, or renting a car (there is parking available at the venue).
Yes! There is free and ample parking available at the venue. Per the venue, cars can be left overnight at the venue but must be picked up by noon the next day (Sunday, October 5th).
You may drive to the venue (there is free and ample parking) or you may Uber/taxi to the event. However, Ubers may be difficult to obtain once at the venue, so we would recommend carpooling or pre-scheduling a taxi service to pick you up at 10:30pm from the venue if you do not plan on taking the provided bus. The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal attire: this includes (but is not limited to) dresses, skirts, and pantsuits for women and suits, sportscoats, and dress shirts for men. The ceremony and reception will take place on grass, so we recommend avoiding stilettos, as heels may sink into the ground. Wedges, block heels, or flats are a great choice for both style and comfort. Please no jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, or sneakers.
Barring any unfavorable weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will be indoors.
To limit long lines at a buffet, and since we are joining our family as one, we are opting for family-style dining, as well as a full open bar! At cocktail hour, there will also be alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeuvres.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can immediately head to our outdoor cocktail hour space, where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the start time on the invitation. Guests who arrive late to the ceremony will not be permitted to enter until after the bridal party has completed the processional.
