Matron of Honor
Veronica, or Roni as I have always called her, is the oldest of the Sepe sisters and definitely the wisest. Roni and I are 3 years apart and I have always looked up to her as a role model. She paved the way for us when she chose to go to Nerinx for high school, I desperately wanted to follow in her foot steps, and lets be honest I probably wouldn't have gotten in without her. Roni now lives in Denver with her husband Harley and their adorable pup Fred. I am so lucky to have such an amazing sister standing with me, as my matron of honor, on my wedding day. Favorite Memory- Visiting her in Miami when she were in college and realizing she wasn't just my sister, but my best friend Not So Favorite Memory- Almost poisoning her with dish detergent when we were little
Maid of Honor
Anna Chea is the youngest of the Sepe sisters and just the most precious little peanut. She is 3 years younger than me, but I have always considered her my partner in crime. We always know how to have a good time, and usually stay out of trouble. Anna followed me to Regis for undergrad and when I was a senior she was a freshman, and we even got to take a class together. She still lives in Denver and I'm very jealous that she and Roni get to hang out without me. I really lucked out in the sister department, and can't wait for her to stand by my side as my maid of honor. Favorite Memory- Sharing not only a bedroom, but a bed for most of our childhood. Not So Favorite Memory- making me watch "Ketchup Vampires" ALL. THE. TIME.
Best Man
John and I have been friends since our freshman year of college when I found him climbing a tree on campus, from that point on we have remained close friends. We have had one too many adventures together exploring both the mountains and bars of Colorado. John is currently working as a doctor in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife Janelle, who happens to be another one of our best friends. John is a smart guy and has always been the voice of reason for all of us, even when no one is listening. Favorite Memory- Trying to kick John out of my car in the middle of nowhere mountains, when he barely knew me and through I may possibly be a serial killer. Not So Favorite Memory- When Johnny boy almost killed everyone and the dog making by us hike to the hot springs in sub zero temps.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and I have been friends since the beginning. We grew up catty-corner from each other and spent most of our childhood playing together. Kayla is a year older than me, so in my head she was my cool, mature friend, but looking back, I think she just got me in trouble a lot. The Unverferth family has always been like a second family to me, and Kayla, like a sister. She currently lives in St. Louis with her husband Nate and their two adorable boys, Cash and Knox, with another babe on the way! Last April, after some flight complications, we went on an unforgettable trip to Iceland together. Favorite Memory- Drinking champagne in the Blue Lagoon Not So Favorite Memory- When we decided selling random brochures to strangers was a much better idea than selling lemonade
Bridesmaid
I met Kelly in high school and from the beginning we were thick as thieves. Going into high school not knowing anyone can be very scary, but luckily Kelly and I found each other right away. She always knew how to make me laugh and we did just about everything together, I used to wonder if you could have friendship soulmates, if so, I think shes mine. Kelly lives in St. Louis and I would argue she is only of my most successful friends, considering she holds the power to fire people. That means she's pretty important. Favorite Memory- Running back to our hotel in the pouring down rain in Nashville, just after showing you a honky tonk Not So Favorite Memory- The one time we were stranded in Colombia, Missouri with nothing but $10, not even a cell phone (actually still a favorite)
Groomsman
The first time I met Red Man, he was writing me a ticket for drinking on campus. A week later I ran into him again on a camping trip where I quickly discovered he was not the power hungry narc I thought he was. Marcus is the type of guy you want to have around. Sometime in college Marcus made the brave decision to move in with John and I, shortly followed by Paddy Man, and the quad squad was formed. Redman is now working for Subaru and living in San Francisco with his wife Jamie, or as we call her J-Bones. Favorite Memory- The day Redman somehow decided it was a good idea to move into the coop. Not So Favorite Memory- Introducing Malort, the two-fisted drinkers delight, into my life.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is also from St, Louis, but we only "knew of each other" in high school, our friendship started when we got to college. We were in the same dorm at Regis and very quickly clicked. Brittany has always been the friend that I rely on for anything, and she always has my back. I was lucky enough to stand by her side on her wedding day, and I'm so excited she gets to share in mine too. Brittany lives in Denver with her husband and college sweetheart Sean (who also happens to be one of my besties) and I am unbelievably excited for the two of them to welcome their first baby this March. Favorite Memory- all the dance parties where we just spent hours trying to recreate the "What You Know" music video, hours. Not So Favorite Memory- having to cautiously avoid Stella for years
Bridesmaid
Brigid and I went to high school together, but didn’t really know each other. When we found out we were both going to Regis, we decided to try rooming together. I was the messiest roommate, yet somehow Brigid never got sick of me, and we roomed together throughout most of college. She has always been the “ying to my yang.” Brigid is the most sincere and kind-hearted person, but also one of the strongest (quite literally, as she is currently training for a 100k race). She lives in Fort Huachuca, Arizona with her husband Jeff and their adventurous little babes, Mila and Beck. Favorite Memory- going out on a limb by becoming roommates and getting to experience all of our college firsts side-by-side Not So Favorite Memory- Tonya
Groomsman
Paddy Man is the man with the plan. The quad squad wouldn't be the same without him. We were housemates during college, and by housemates I mean he lived under the pool table in our living room. Paddy is always up for a good time and I'm lucky enough to call him a friend. He's currently living in gator country with his girlfriend Elena. Favorite Memory- Shuttling up and down the mountains of Colorado with nothing but a pack of reds and strange tunes playin. Not So Favorite Memory- We we got beat up together in downtown Denver, Paddyman has the heart of a lion.
Bridesmaid
Janelle and I went to college together and she is the one responsible for introducing Lew and I. Janelle and I met as members of the sustainability club and our mutual love for Hansen and Sour Cream and Cheddar potato chips quickly bonded us. Janelle was there to listen and give advice and always had a daybed for me to crash on. Her boyfriend, now husband, John happened to be best friends with Lew. Janelle has known Lew and I since the beginning and she has always been our number one supporter. As we've gotten older our friendship has just gotten stronger and I can't wait for our next adventure together. Favorite Memory- Spending the weekend Up North in Wisconsin for both your wedding and my baptism Not So Favorite Memory- the morning after my 21st birthday
Groomsman
Ryan and I met in graduate school. Even though he was one of the youngest and I was the oldest in our class, we still quickly became friends. Graduate school wasn't easy and this guy helped me get through a lot of it. Whether we were collaborating on a project or enjoying a beer (or two) after a long week of classes, he was always there. After graduate school Ryan moved down to Richmond but we still make sure to get together as often as we can. Favorite Memory- #budlightlime Not So Favorite Memory- #budlightlime
Officiant
Blythe is the sister of the groom and we are so excited that she agreed to officiate our wedding! Growing up Blythe and I were thick as thieves and shared in lots of family adventures together, or as Richard called them, "quests." Naturally as an older sister, Blythe was never afraid to give the orders and I usually followed suit. Even if that meant reenacting the entire Grease movie, musical numbers and all. As we've grown up, Blythe has become one of my best friends. We still argue from time to time, as all siblings do, but we've come to really appreciate one another and can always rely on one another for anything.
