Can I really wear shorts?

Answer

Yes, you really can! Maybe opt for a nice khaki short rather than ripped denim, but please wear whatever will help you stay cool and have fun!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any children who were not included on the invitation. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and are happy to help coordinate childcare if you plan to bring young ones with you to Charleston.

How hot are we talking about?

Answer

The average high on September, 2 in Folly Beach is 85 degrees with considerable humidity. The venue is directly on the water and there is typically a very nice breeze, although there is no air conditioning. We will also have fans for your comfort. We recommend dressing light and possibly bringing a layer in case the wind picks up in the later hours of the event. Don't worry, we live here and we haven't melted yet ;)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest," then yes. If not, we're sorry but we ask that you bring just your shining self.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately because guests are staying in many different locations, we cannot offer transportation to the venue. However, we will be providing shuttle from the venue to the center of Folly Beach after the wedding. Please see the bottom of the Travel page for more details.
