Cocktail / semi-formal attire! We hope this can be a good excuse to get a lil dressed up and fancy. Think short or long dresses, suits, jackets, jumpsuits, etc...whatever makes you feel ready to dance and party! Early September in Minnesota has average highs in the 70s during the day and average lows in the 50s at night. The ceremony and reception will both be indoors, but there will be outdoor space to enjoy at the reception as well, weather permitting.
If your invitation/RSVP lists a guest, please bring them! Unfortunately, our venue cannot accommodate additional guests.
It would be our dream to have your children join us to kick it on the dance floor! Unfortunately, our venue is not able to accommodate all of the wonderful children in our lives. Please only bring your children if they are listed on your invitation/RSVP.
In Jewish tradition, weddings are not held on Shabbat, which happens from sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday.
Weyerhaeuser Chapel (at Macalester College) is accessible via walkways and a ramp. The bathrooms in the chapel are on the lower level and only accessible via stairs. A nearby building (the Campus Center) has elevators down to the bathrooms, which are also on the lower level. The St. Paul College Club has a few accessible parking spaces in the back by an accessible entrance to the building. Please let us know if you need to park back there when you RSVP so we can make arrangements.
Weyerhaeuser Memorial Chapel (ceremony): The entrance is on the south side of the building, across the path from the flagpole. You won't need to use any stairs to get inside. St. Paul College Club (reception): The entrance is simply the main door on the front of the building on Summit Ave! You'll walk from the sidewalk across the circular driveway to the entrance.
