Bluefin Bay on Lake Superior

This is where we will be having our ceremony and dinner on Sunday! We will be staying here over the weekend, and we've reserved some rooms for guests to join us. These rooms include a mix of Hillside Guestrooms (one bedroom, no lake view), Lakeside Guestroom (two bedroom, lake view), and Dockside Guestroom (two bedroom, lake view). Since these rooms are reserved, they won't appear as available if you look online for this weekend. Please call and mention Schleisman/Patterson Wedding to book your stay under our reservation, or you can book another room through their website. When you call, mention that you'd like to know what discounts are available—you should be able to at least match the 10% online discount! Please book here by July 1, 2025.

This hotel is just across the road from Bluefin Bay. We've reserved rooms here as well! To book, please call the hotel and mention Grant and Liz's Wedding. Please note there is a two night minimum here, and each room has two Queen beds. Please book here by August 15, 2025.

Grand Marais Campground & Marina

Feel like embracing nature? We've camped here a few years in a row—we love it! Our favorite spots are just along the beach. Bathrooms have running water and showers. We recommend reserving your site early, as it's a popular campground.
