When should I RSVP by?

Where will the wedding be held?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside in Tofte Cove at Bluefin Bay Resort. In case of rain, we will move the ceremony indoors to Bluefin Grille. Dinner will be held at Bluefin Grille. Please see the above map for a visual. Bluefin Bay address: 7192 MN-61, Tofte, MN 55615

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 1:40, to allow time for parking, walking over, and finding your seat.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are a few spots closest to the ceremony location. For those who are able, we'd suggest parking by Bluefin Grille and walking over to Tofte Cove, about a five minute walk. For ceremony parking, extra parking is available next to the outdoor pool building near units 55-57 and east of the WatersEdge/Coho building near units 70-72. For dinner at Bluefin Grille, parking is available outside the restaurant, as well as across from the Tofte Room and across from unit 53. Please do not park more than two cars overnight and three cars per unit during any daytime period, directly outside accommodations.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We are asking our guests to dress up with us. We want you to look and feel your best! Cocktail attire is requested. For men, this might mean a jacket and tie or traditional suit with dress shoes. For women, this might mean a midi or maxi dress, or a nice suit or jumpsuit, with heels or formal flats. Please keep in mind that the wedding ceremony is outdoors, weather permitting, and dinner will be indoors. The ceremony is currently planned to take part on a pebbly/sandy surface, so keep that in mind if you plan to wear heels. We ask that you please refrain from wearing sneakers, jeans, khakis, and the color white. If you're looking for inspiration, we'd suggest matching the colors on our invite!

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged," meaning that we are asking for personal devices to be put away. We have a wonderful photographer and will be videotaping the whole ceremony. We are more than happy to share those photos with you afterwards. During other weekend events, feel free to snap some photos and videos, but we encourage everyone to be as present as possible.

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests outside of who is listed on your invitation. Please refer to your invitation or the RSVP section of our website to confirm who has been invited.

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to capacity limits at our venue, we've chosen to limit our ceremony and dinner reception to adults only. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having some time off!

Will there be vegan or vegetarian options?

Answer

Yes! We are working with Bluefin Grille to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian friends and family members.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We extend a warm invitation to join us on Saturday for welcome events. Please see your invitation or the "schedule" tab for more information on these. After our dinner on Sunday, we welcome everyone to take a short break to change into comfortable clothes before joining us behind Bluefin Grille for a bonfire, weather permitting. Please see the "schedule" tab for more info.

We will not be hosting a dance after dinner. But we do welcome everyone to join us for other activities throughout the weekend! Please see the "schedule" tab for more info.
