With its iconic pavilions established prior to the 1904 World's Fair and its charming features, we spend the majority of our spare time in Tower Grove Park! This park was one of our stops during our engagement day.
Not only is the zoo (like many of Forest Park's attractions) free, it also is home to over 12,000 animals! We especially love the penguins.
Stroll through St. Louis's free art museum to see some beautiful pieces.
Yet ANOTHER free attraction in Forest Park, the Missouri History Museum always has a variety of informative exhibits.
Also located in Forest Park and free to enter, the Science Center is fun for all ages.
Check out this cute coffee shop on the Hill, St. Louis's famous Italian neighborhood, for a pick-me-up in the morning or between the ceremony and reception.
This great coffee joint is right next to Forest Park, making it a great place to grab coffee before or after the ceremony.
Walking distance from our house, Tower Pub is our favorite neighborhood watering hole. Complete with year-round Halloween decorations and beef jerky sold in a Ziploc bag, what's not to love?
Grab a beer at the location of Liz and Emily's first date! UCBC has a wide selection of beers, as well as wine and seltzer.
In a stroke of good luck, one of our very favorite breweries is only 1/3 of a mile from our reception venue!
Check out our neighborhood brewery!
If you're a lover of ice cream (well, technically, frozen custard), be sure to grab a treat from this iconic St. Louis spot. Emily's favorite is the M&M sundae - she's happy to tell you why, if you're curious.
Take a stroll through St. Louis's beautiful botanical garden. While there's an entrance fee, taking in the picturesque grounds is more than worth it.
