FAQs

Question

Will there be any COVID-19 restrictions be in place?

Answer

Yes. Masks will be required while in the Jewel Box. Additionally, we are asking that all attendees be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test. If you are vaccinated and are able to, we would certainly appreciate if you also received a negative COVID-19 test before the wedding. We recognize this may come at an inconvenience to our guests, but the safety of our friends and family is of utmost importance to us. We appreciate your assistance in making our wedding celebration as safe as possible!

Question

This is my first LGBTQ+ wedding. What should I expect?

Answer

We know this ceremony might be different from others you have attended. Believe it or not, this will be the first LGBTQ+ wedding either of us have attended, too! Thanks to the support of our ceremony planner and officiant, Maria Yamnitz and Heidi Kallen, we hope to have a ceremony that reflects our values and honor the traditions we hope to carry into our life together. If you're unsure about something, just ask us! We're always open to conversation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to be in your seats by 2:15. We have a very strict time with the vendor to be out by 3:30!

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children – thank you for your understanding.

For all the days along the way
