Once upon a time, in a vape shop far, far away, Liz—your favorite extroverted, slightly chaotic human—met Bob, who was just trying to make it through life as the introverted guy working the counter. Liz, being a person who insists on making everyone hang out with her (because, obviously, how could anyone resist her?), quickly added Bob to her group of friends. Soon, Bob found himself going to parties and gatherings that Liz dragged him to, while Liz remained blissfully unaware of the fact that Bob was completely, madly, and obviously in love with her. For about 4 or 5 years, Liz lived in a complete delusional land, thinking Bob just liked hanging out with her as friends. But in May of 2021, reality hit, and Liz had a huge "Oh... wait... duh" moment when she realized that, yeah, she was also completely in love with Bob. (Don’t worry, Liz wasn’t that oblivious, okay, maybe just a little.) Fast forward to June 9th, 2021, the best day in Bob's life when Liz finally came to her senses and made things official. (Let’s be real, he was a little busy thinking about how amazing she was for the next 5 years, but whatever.) Now, they live together (yes, somehow surviving each other’s quirks), have four adorable cats—Ivy, Linkin, Blue, and Leo—and Liz is pursuing a master’s degree while Bob is just trying to survive her “quirky genius” moments. They bond over Dungeons & Dragons, cats, and occasionally dressing up in questionable outfits to visit the Kentucky Renaissance Faire (because who doesn’t love medieval-themed shenanigans with friends?). Bob might be extremely allergic to cats, but his love for them (and Liz’s crazy world) is strong enough to power through the sniffles. Oh, and just wait—once they have their dream house, they’ll be building a catio (that’s a cat patio, for those not familiar with such majestic structures) to satisfy their collective obsession with cats. Because who needs clean furniture when you have four furballs running around? When Liz finally realized Bob was "the one"? Well, there were many moments, but let’s just say it became crystal clear when Bob put up with her all-consuming Taylor Swift obsession. Whether it was attending The Eras Tour in Cincinnati or watching the Eras Tour Movie in the theaters (yes, there was one showing, but Liz had to watch all the TikTok livestreams too), Bob’s support, kindness, and endless patience proved he was the perfect one. Liz didn’t just find someone who tolerates her; she found the one who gets her in every way, like an invisible string tying their hearts together. The way they love each other? It’s like they’re always asking, “Can I go where you go?” because Bob is the place where Liz feels safest, and together, they know they’ve found something real. It's all those little moments—the kind that make you feel like honestly who are we to fight the alchemy cause this happens only once every few lifetimes. Here’s to a lifetime of love, chaos, and cats.
