Things To Do

We're so excited to be in Baja with you! Below are a helpful links of Things To Do!

Here a few "things to do" in and around Los Barriles!

From snorkeling to playing pickleball, fishing, booking a spa appointment, hiking, and/or tequila tasting, there's something for everyone in Los Barriles! The "Los compis" Waterfall is a cool spot to check out! To get there you must go by a 4x4 vehicle and then it's a short walk to get to the waterfall. Well worth the drive up the arroyo! Ask Patrick or Melissa for more deets on this adventure!

Hungry? Looking for a mango margarita?! Check out these restaurant & bar options!

Joe's Deli/Pizza is a solid pizza option and they have yummy sandwiches to go with fresh baked bread! Caleb's Cafe is a great spot for breakfast and their cinnamon rolls are the bomb! Mango Bakery is a great place to go if you're looking for a sweet treat or pastry! Tres Palapas Pickleball Resort has a variety of fresh smoothies! Santuario is a beautiful outdoor dining experience but only open a few days a week. Their wood fired pizza is a must and you can't beat their beet salad! ;) Willy's Bar & Grill has bands playing on most weekends! Close to Spa Vida. Lazy Daze is a fun day drinking spot in the sand! Cheers! La Casita has a diverse menu with lots of fresh fish options. Great ribeye! Save room for ice cream from the ice cream shop located in the restaurant! El Panzon has the best traditional Mexican food according to Patrick & Melissa Beans & Rice restaurant is great, too! La Playa's nachos... still dreaming of those! Great food and awesome views on the water!

Saturday Market anyone?!

The Los Barriles Saturday Market is the place to go where you can grab a bite to eat for breakfast and peruse a variety of tables filled with locally made jewelry, artwork, and more!

About Los Barriles

This locally made website is filled with a bunch of information on more things to do around the area including bird watching, yoga, SUP-ing (stand-up paddle boarding), cultural events & more!

International Living's take on Los Barriles

Read here for information on the (maybe open in June) hot spring "Ojo de Agua - Eye of Water" north of Los Barriles in San Bartolo, where and how to find fresh tortillas at the local tortilleria, and how it's possible to "catch" fresh fish at the fish market!

Grocery Stores!

Chapitos and Chapitos Express has the largest selection of groceries in town. Find everything you need at the larger Chapitos including pool floaties, kids toys, clothing, fresh fruit, cold beer, and more! La Pitahaya Produce Stand is a large, outdoor veggie stand on the main road across from Caleb's Cafe

Did someone say SPA?!

Spa Vida offers a space to relax and pamper yourself. They have several types of massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, reflexology, hot stones and body exfoliation. If you are in this small paradise in Los Barriles, you cannot leave town without booking an appointment at Spa Vida! Patrick and I both had a deep tissue massage when we visited Los Barriles over spring break and it did not disappoint!
