It was spring 2019. Jenna's intramural soccer team was the only one accepting free agents. She hoped the stranger that slid into her DMs on CSU's recreational sports portal was any good. Turns out, he wasn't half bad. And he was pretty cute too. Jenna and Andrew maintained a casual friendship through the pandemic, getting to know each other through soccer and board game nights with friends. Jenna never expected much of it, but shortly after becoming single, Andrew struck. Thrilled, Jenna said yes to a first date, but after some reflecting, decided she wasn't healed enough to start dating her friend.
