Thank you for traveling to our wedding! Please see the notes below for travel tips.

Hotel

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Tahoe Ridge Resort

400 Ridge Club Drive
Stateline, NV 89449
 (775) 588-3553

Please use the unique link provided below as it is set up to provide you the discounted rate! Or you can call (833) 597-0330 and ask for Rate Code: IL4D4. It is recommended that guests make their reservation as soon as possible, as room rates are based on availability at the time of the request. It is also recommend to choose the "Tahoe" rooms and not "Crest Point" as "Tahoe" is closer to the wedding reception area. Please note, currently there is a 2 night minimum. This could change, depending on availability.

Travel Note

Traveling to The Ridge Resort

The Ridge Resort is an hour and 10 minutes from the Reno-Tahoe Airport. You will be traveling up winding mountain roads, so I highly recommend arriving during the daytime hours. If you are traveling from the East Coast, I recommend flying in on Thursday to give you time to get to The Ridge Resort, adapt to the time zone change, and settle in before wedding events begin.

Travel Note

High Altitude

You'll be at 6,000 ft altitude at The Ridge Resort. For those not used to high altitude, please take the following into consideration: • Drink LOTS of water • Monitor your booze — at higher altitudes, it’s easy to get super tipsy, super-fast (completely by accident) • Be lazy at first — no need to go on a 5-mile hike just yet • Watch what you eat — Limit your salt intake and balance what you eat with foods that will help you thrive at altitude, like broccoli, bananas, avocado, cantaloupe, celery, greens, bran, chocolate, granola, dates, dried fruit, potatoes and tomatoes. They will help you replenish electrolytes by balancing salt intake. • Don't forget to pack sunblock, sunglasses and a hat!

Travel Note

Airbnbs

I do not recommend staying at an Airbnb during the wedding weekend. One, the reception takes place at the top of a mountain ridge, so I would prefer everyone stay onsite and not be traveling on mountain roads late at night. Two, I reserved this hotel so we can all be together! An Airbnb would make sense if you want to extend your trip after the wedding.
