We met during the Hamilton sales meeting in Reno. We started talking at a Reno Aces game about running marathons (I told him he was crazy) and beekeeping (he thought it was interesting). The rest is history. ;)

We went up to Ashland, Oregon to visit with Casey's family. I was so excited to get out of our house after being on lockdown due to coronavirus that I said I was just "going with the flow" when he asked what our plans were. He was adamant we make a reservation at a vineyard, so I was slightly suspicious. However, he had also promised not to make a scene in front of people. I got dressed in a cute outfit to go to the vineyard and nothing happened. The next day, while I'm in my "car ride home" outfit, we stopped to get coffee and take a walk at Lithia Park. Much to my surprise, he proposed by the pond with no one in sight. :)
