The museum is Frida Kahlo’s former home, offering an intimate look into her life, art, and personal world. Coyoacán itself is well worth visiting on its own, with leafy plazas, colorful streets, cafés, and a slower, village-like feel that contrasts beautifully with the rest of the city. Tickets must be purchased in advance, as walk-up entry is not guaranteed and often sells out.
