Question

✨ Top Tips for Our Mexico City Wedding.

Answer

Here are a few must-know tips to make your trip smooth, fun, and stress-free: 📱 Stay Connected International calling and data are a must! While some cafes and restaurants offer Wi-Fi, it's not always reliable. You’ll want mobile data for maps, Uber/Didi, and quick translations. 🚗 Download Uber or Didi for Safe Travel Both apps are widely used in Mexico City and offer a safe, affordable way to get around. Ride-share apps are the most reliable option. *Avoid Taxis* 🌎 Translation Help Download a translate app like Google Translate. Many locals are kind and helpful, and even a small effort to speak Spanish is appreciated. It goes a long way! 💳 Money Matters Most places accept credit cards (make sure yours works internationally), but it’s a good idea to carry pesos for street food, small shops, and tips—some of the best finds are cash-only. 🔒 General Safety Of course, the area we’ll be in is safe—especially neighborhoods like Roma, Condesa, and Polanco—but as with any big city, it’s always smart to stay aware of your surroundings and use common sense while exploring.

Question

Travel and Arrival

Answer

✈️ TRAVEL & ARRIVAL Q: What airport should I fly into? A: Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX) is the main airport in Mexico City and closest to the wedding events. Q: How do I get from the airport to my hotel or Airbnb? A: You can take Uber, Didi, or a secure airport taxi. We recommend using ride shares from the designated pickup areas. Q: Do I need a visa or anything special to enter Mexico? A: U.S. and Canadian citizens do not need a visa for tourist visits under 180 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date. Q: When should I arrive and leave? A: We recommend arriving at least one full day before the wedding. Most guests stay through the day after the wedding or turn it into a mini vacation! Q: How far is the airport from the wedding area? A: About 20–40 minutes by car, depending on traffic and where you're staying. Q: Is it safe to take Uber or taxis in Mexico City? A: Yes! Uber and Didi are both safe and commonly used. **We highly suggest these over street taxis**
