Flight
This is the main airport to arrive and depart from. Several airlines offer frequent flights to and from this airport.
Travel Note
Guests will need to travel from Cancun International Airport to the accommodations in Playa Del Carmen. The Cancun Airport is ~1 hour away from PDC. There are various methods of transport: - For smaller groups (2-4 people): Taxis will be available outside of the airport. A taxi should cost between $60-90 for the entire ride. - For larger groups (5-10): As soon as you exit the airport, you will be greeted by several shuttle services offering to transport you to your accommodations. Often times the drivers will provide you with a printed list of prices with estimates. Ask for pricing to Playa Del Carmen - Quinta Avenida area, and they should be able to give you a price. Depending on the driver and your bargaining abilities ;) this should cost somewhere between $100-150 for the entire ride. - If staying in an Airbnb, transportation can often be coordinated ahead of time through the Airbnb host. Check to see if you have this option by messaging your host in the app or reading the description of your Air BnB listing. - The ADO bus is also a great and efficient way to arrive. Tickets are ~$13. Buses depart from the station at the airport every 20 minutes and tickets can be purchased at the window on site. Keep in mind, if you are staying in the Quinta Avenida area, you may still need to taxi from the bus station if you have lots of luggage. That being said, there are stops just 2 blocks away from the Hyatt Centric hotel.
Flight
This is a newly constructed airport and is located ~1.5 hours south of PDC in Tulum. Flights will likely be more expensive to arrive and depart here, but depending on your travel plans leading up to or after the wedding (i.e. if planning to spend a couple nights in Tulum) it may make sense for you.
Hotel
Rooms have been blocked at the Hyatt Centric under Martha and Omar Yazbak. Follow the website link to book. The website may default to Spanish but a toggle to change the language (“Idioma”) can be found at the top right corner of the page.
House Or Rental
We suggest staying in close proximity to La Quinta Avenida where all the fun is! Walking distance somewhere between the beach, the Hyatt Centric Hotel and the 4 Elementos Bistro is perfect and where most familiar faces will be staying.
